WHAT WE DO
At Help At Home Care Service, we do "exactly as it says on the tin". Our service users are those who may just need a little extra support in the home or those with more complex needs. We understand that it can be daunting having to arrange a care package or having carers visiting. Please rest assured that your care journey with us will be handled in a compassionate and sensitive manner. From your first contact with our management team to discuss your needs, to the carers who visit to carry out your care requirements.
Whether you need assistance with daily tasks or ongoing support, our dedicated team of care professionals will work with you to develop a customised care plan that meets your specific requirements and allows you to live the life you want.
Our Services
We will assist you with all aspect of personal care this can be having a strip wash, a bath or showering and oral care. We will also assist you with getting dressed in clothing of your choice. This is done in a sensitive manner and at all times allowing you to make choices and respecting your dignity.
We are able to assist service users with limited or no mobility as our carers are trained in using a variety of mobility aids such as molift and standaid.
Ensuring that medications are taken correctly is an important aspect of care. Our care staff can provide medication prompts and assist with the administration of medications as needed.

Keeping track of your medication schedule and ensuring that all medication is taken at the correct times using a MAR Sheet.

Providing reminders to take medications, either verbally or through written cues. Assisting with organising and storing medications in a safe and accessible location.

Monitoring for any potential side effects or interactions with other medications you are taking.
Making sure that you have a sufficient supply of medications by communicating with your GP, district nurses or pharmacy to ensure that they are aware of any changes in your medication regimen.

Proper nutrition is essential for overall health and well-being. Our care staff can assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that our clients receive the nourishment they need. Our carers can help you with nutritional care by performing the following tasks:

Assisting with grocery shopping and meal planning to ensure that you have balanced and nutritious diet.

We will prepare healthy meals and snacks that meets your dietary needs and preferences.
Encouraging you to eat regularly and drink enough fluids to maintain hydration.
Assisting with feeding if you have difficulty eating independently.

Monitoring your weight and liasing with professionals and make necessary adjustments to your diet to ensure that you are maintaining a healthy weight.

Assisting with any special dietary needs, such as low-sodium or gluten-free diets.
Encouraging the person to participate in mealtime socialisation and make mealtimes a positive experience.
Food preparation and Nutrional support:
We can support with domestic tasks around the home. This may include cleaning, laundry, waste management (such as household rubbish, recycling and clinical waste management). At each visit your carers will ensure that your home is left in a clean and tidy state before they leave.
Domestic Support:
Our respite/sitting service offers you the chance to take a break or just have some time to yourself from the caring role. Respite/sitting is very flexible and start at an hour.
